What is the Panda Security Toolbar
The Panda Security Toolbar is a free optional toolbar that comes with Panda Cloud. The toolbar provides web filtering along with some features that may come in handy for users. The toolbar works on Internet Explorer and Firefox only. The URL/Web filtering component is compatible with all major web-browsers though.
How do I use the Panda Security Toolbar
Clear Data: Clicking on the button gives you the ability clean up personal information that you want to keep private. This includes things like previously entered passwords, cookies, temp internet files. If you like to keep things private you can use this instead of having to clean up privacy risks manually.
ActiveScan: ActiveScan is the free only scan utility from Panda Security. This tool provides a quick check of your PC through a browser interface.
ID Protect: ID Protect is a security password manager. You can enter all your passwords into ID protect then have one click secure entering of passwords on sites you chose to have ID Protect guard.
Weather: Weather provides a local Weather forecast for your hometown. This comes in handy where you are at one site and need to check the weather but do not want to browser to your towns local weather station.
Apps: Apps gives you the ability to add more tools to your toolbar
Coupons\Shopping: Coupon alert gives you alerts on deals when you are at supported sites shopping. At one site and want to make sure you got the best deal? Coupons will alert you if it finds a discount code or better price on an item. Shopping also provides related alerts.
Removing the Panda Security Toolbar
If you do not like toolbars open add and remove programs and uninstall the program Panda Security toolbar. This will keep web filtering, if you want to remove web filtering you must uninstall Panda Security URL Filtering.
